Before you book your taster
You book a slot through our contact form, we match you with a tutor who fits your goals, and you meet online for 25 minutes. The tutor assesses your level, shows you how lessons run and recommends a study plan. There is no charge and no obligation to continue.
Yes. Every tutor on our roster grew up speaking English in the UK, Ireland, the USA, Canada, Australia or New Zealand, and holds a recognised teaching certificate such as CELTA or TESOL, plus at least two years of online classroom experience.
Lessons run in our browser-based virtual classroom with video, an interactive whiteboard and instant lesson notes. Nothing needs to be installed — a laptop, tablet or phone with a stable connection is enough.
Because our tutors are spread across several time zones, lessons are available seven days a week from 7:00 in the morning until 22:00 Malaysian time, including public holidays.
Yes. Every learner who completes a programme receives a certificate of completion stating the course, the CEFR level reached and the number of guided hours — useful for employers, schools and visa applications.
You can move any lesson free of charge up to 12 hours before it starts, straight from your booking confirmation. Later changes count as one lesson from your package, which keeps slots fair for tutors and other students.
